Well what we thought was gonna happen happened. After an impressive first quarter by the Rockets scoring 39 points, the Warriors quickly realized they were on the brink of elimination and imposed their will. At half time it was anyone’s game really with the Rockets holding a 10 points lead. However you kinda just got the feeling Golden State was going to get it together in the second half and Harden would slow down. Harden finished the game with 32, and was deadly from downtown in the first half, but could tell was trying to do too much in the second half with Chris Paul out with an injury. Harden was a turnover machine in a crucial stretch in the game when the Warriors were making their run. Maybe those designer drugs finally kicked in.
Klay was feeling himself last night finishing the game with 35 and hitting 9 three pointers. The warriors aren’t gonna lose many games when he does stuff like that. It’s gonna be a tall task for the Rockets in game 7 especially with the reports of Paul “less likely than likely” to play. We’ll see what happens.
