One of the nations most entertaining high school competitions announced its finalists.
The Elite 11 competition hosts regional “showcases” around the nation to find premiere high school quarterbacks, and find one, who will ultimately win the challenge. Being selected as one of the final “Elite 11” quarterbacks puts you in good company. Matt Leinart, Troy Smith, Tim Tebow and Jameis Winston all won Heisman trophies, and competed in the Elite 11 competition.
My top picks to win the challenge are as follows:
Spencer Rattler Pinnacle HS, AZ – Probably the favorite to win it all, Rattler, an Oklahoma Sooner commit, can do it with his legs, and his arms.
Taulia Tagovailoa Alabaster, AL – Younger brother of the national championship hero last year, Taulia is much like his brother, and is a force to be reckoned with.
Bo Nix Pinson HS, AL – Nix is the top ranked Dual Threat Q in the nation according to 247 sports, and will continue to throw the pig skin at Auburn.
Ryan Hillinski Orange HS, California – a South Carolina Gamecock commit, Hillinski a 6’4 gun slinger is fun to watch.
Max Duggan Lewis Central HS, IA – Committed to TCU in April, Duggan can do it all and puts up crazy numbers in high school.
The rest of the field –
Jayden Daniels, Ty Evans, Brian Maurer, Cade McNamara, Graham Mertz, Dylan Morris, Sam Howell.
