Nationals -255 and -1.5 (-125) vs Rays
No shit. Scherzer against the Rays. Plus the city is HOT right now. Heavy money on Nats ML.
Indians -205 vs Brewers
Kluber is undefeated at Progressive Field this season. That means he hasn’t lost there. That means it’d be smart to bet on him tonight.
Red Sox -190 vs Tigers
Steven Wright is making the start tonight for Boston. Wright has turned in 16 innings of work this season with a 2.25 ERA and a 1-0 record. Artie Lewicki is making the second major league start of his career, and I’m hoping that the heavy hitting Red Sox lineup will get to him and rattle him early.
Reds- 102 vs Rockies
Daily Reds pick that I haven’t done in forever. Anthony DeSclafani is making his season debut tonight for the Redlegs, which means we’re basically starting our road to the World Series today. I’m without a doubt tuning in to the Reds tonight to watch DeSclafani’s debut, and I’m putting money on the Reds to give me something to root for from the friendly confines of my couch.
Cubs -200 and -1.5 (-110) vs Phillies
The Cubs have caught fire after a four game sweep of the Mets, and the Cubs have won 6 of their last 7. And the Phillies have only won 2 of their last 7. Their only run from this past weekend series in San Francisco came on Sunday thanks to a Jake Arrieta homerun. The Phillies are on a major downfall, and I expect the collapse to continue.
Cardinals -188 and -1.5 (+105) vs Marlins
The Marlins are 1-6 in their last 7, and they’re terrible (as expected). Carlos Martinez and Yadier Molina return tonight for the Cardinals, so I expect them both to have strong showings tonight to lead the Cardinals to victory.
Giants -135 vs Diamondbacks
Bumgarner is back. He’s going to come out firing. It’s going to be awesome. And the Giants are going to win.
