A year ago today, greatness happened at Great American Ballpark when Scooter Gennett put on the greatest display of offense the sport of baseball has ever seen. One of the biggest, if not the biggest, bright spots for the franchise over the past few years occurred when Scooter went 5 for 5 with 4 homeruns, to go along with 10 RBI’s and a homerun cycle. To celebrate the event, the Cincinnati Reds are giving out Scooter Gennett bobbleheads this Saturday since the Cardinals are going to be back in town (we have to be able to rub something in their face since they’ve just dominated us since 2014). Then basically we’ll have to start saying goodbye to our loved one, Scooter, since we’ll probably move him for a haul of prospects before the deadline so we can bring up our top prospect Nick Senzel. Love you Scooter, let’s remember greatness.
