Mets -122 @ Braves
The struggling Mets have DeGrom on the mound today, so they’ll barely have to do anything offensively like they normally do to try to get the win. DeGrom has been lights out this year through 80.1 innings and he’s coming into today’s start with a 1.57 ERA.
Red Sox -230 @ Orioles
After two not so great starts against the Astros and the Braves, Sale came out and threw 8 innings of 1 run baseball against the White Sox. Safe to say that he’s probably back on track.
Phillies -143 vs Rockies
Philadelphia was able to hold off a Rockies come back last night after Colorado scored 3 in the 9th, and they’re looking to keep things going today in a Nick Pivetta/Tyler Anderson matchup. Pivetta has had a solid year so far, while Anderson has struggled a bit.
Twins -159 @ Tigers
Berrios went 8 innings while giving up only 2 runs in his last start against the Tigers. Detroit has to try to overcome a couple of obstacles tonight, like the lack of talent on the entire team and the recent loss of Miguel Cabrera.
Indians -180 @ White Sox
With a win tonight, the Indians take the series 3-1. Trevor Bauer gets the start for the Wahoo’s, and he’s had a very impressive showing this season with a 2.62 ERA through 86 innings of work. Dylan Covey gets the start tonight, and he’s been solid ever since his debut. He’s coming off back-to-back shutouts, but failed to make it past the 6th inning in either game. Anxious to see if he’ll be able to work late into the game tonight, but I expect the Indians to get to him early.
Reds -118 @ Royals
We won last night 5-1 in extras and the Royals have old ass Jason Hammel throwing tonight. Go Reds.
Cardinals -210 vs Padres
The Padres are throwing Eric Lauer. Google Him. Not very great.
Astros -175 @ A’s
Gerrit Cole comes in with a 7-1 record and a 2.16 ERA. Paul Blackburn is making his 2nd start of the season, and that Astros lineup is gonna get all up in that ass. Just saying.
