Cardinals -112 @ Phillies
St Louis avoided being swept by the Cubs last night, and now they’re traveling to Philadelphia to take on the Phillies after losing the past two series. The Cardinals are currently 4 games out first in the NL Central, and need to start making up some ground to catch back up to the Cubs and Brewers. Miles Mikolas gets the start for St. Louis, and he’s been strong for STL this season, coming in with a 2.43 ERA. Nick Pivetta is coming off a start where he struggled for Philly, giving up 6 runs in 5 innings of work.
Mets -127 @ Rockies
Jacob DeGrom has been one of the best pitchers in all of baseball this year, but the Mets have won only twice in his last 10 starts. DeGrom’s domination will continue, and maybe New York can get to Tyler Anderson for at least 2 runs (but the bullpen would probably blow that lead for the Mets anyways) but still, riding with DeGrom and his dominance.
Diamondbacks -110 @ Angels
Greinke struggled during his last outing, giving up 5 runs through 4.2 innings. Look for Greinke to bounce back tonight. The rookie Jaime Barria has had a great season for LAA so far, bringing in a 5-2 record with a 2.61 ERA. At the end of the day, I believe Arizona’s lineup will be too much for Barria and the DBacks will build up their lead in the NL West Standings.
