Adrian Houser made his third appearance of 2018 for Milwaukee on Sunday and he was able to turn in an interesting performance before even throwing a pitch. Before Houser faced his first batter, he stepped off the mound and then threw up. Twice. In front of a lot of people. Houser gave up 2 hits and a run and his only inning of work.
Throwing up in sports isn’t necessarily uncommon, but it’s always weird when it happens. The last time I remember it happening was when Willie Beamen made his debut for the Miami Sharks.
Beamen’s career ended up turning out just fine, and I’m sure Houser’s will be ok too.
