Running a 4.4 second 40-yard dash when you’re a receiver in the National Football League? Well, that’s expected. Running a 4.4 second 40-yard dash at the age of 44? Well, that’s impressive. The latest Hall of Fame inductee Terrell Owens has recently voiced that he would take the veteran league minimum contract if it meant he could play again, and maybe the point of this video is to prove that he’s still got “it”.
TO was one of the most talented receivers of all-time, but his talent was often overshadowed by some of his comments off the field, as well as some of his behaviors on it.
After being publicly outspoken against the Football Hall of Fame, Canton finally opened their doors to TO as he was named a member of the Class of 2018. But TO being TO, he came out and said that he will not be attending the ceremony in Canton. At the end of the day, it’s his choice. I just think it’s a strange one.
Is there any chance that anyone will ever actually take TO up on his offer and sign him to a veteran minimum contract?
But it’d still be a hell of a time getting to watch the only active Hall of Famer catch some passes one last time.
