The Chicago Bulls have signed Jabari Parker to a 2-year, $40M contract. I doubt anything could ever go wrong for the Bulls by signing a hometown kid coming off two ACL surgeries.
In 2016, Parker averaged 20.1 PPG, but unfortunately had his season cut short due to injury. This past season, Parker returned and played in 31 games. He played 10 less minutes per game than he did the year before, but was still able to score 12.6 PPG.
If Parker can stay healthy, then maybe he has a chance to reach his full potential and become the player that many thought he would become when coming into the league back in 2014. It’s a mystery at this point, with him suffering two big-time injuries already.
