Happy Anniversary, George Brett

George Brett was slumping this time thirty-five years ago. In a game against the Yankees, Brett came up and hit a home run that gave the Royals a one run lead. Yankees Manager Billy Martin called some form of bullshit, and said that the pine tar was too high on Brett’s bat, which somehow gave him an advantage and the ability to hit a home run.

The umpires called George Brett out, which ended the game. Brett got a little mad about the situation. I now present to you one of the most funny/infamous moments in baseball history.
