Cubs -110 vs Diamondbacks
No reason at all. Just 2 pm baseball and I’ll be watching. I don’t like either team, and I know I should hate the Cubs even more since they’re in our division. But I just really don’t like the Diamondbacks. Couldn’t tell you why. Pretty even pitching matchup. Kris Bryant just went on the DL for Chicago. Still giving the lineup advantage to the Cubs. Plus it’s at Wrigley.
Yankees -1.5 (-145) and -280 vs Royals
Sonny Gray is coming off back-to-back solid starts. Huge surprise, right? Sure they were against the Orioles and the Mets, two of the worst teams in baseball. But still a solid start. He gets a third straight start against an awful team, so he should be able to be pretty dominant once again.
Nationals -135 @ Marlins
The Nats are 7 games out first in the NL East and they’re 5.5 games out of the Wild Card spot. They’re good enough as a team to make a run and try to sneak their way into a WC spot if a few teams just completely collapse. They’re coming off a series loss against Milwaukee, and this is their last chance to get hot before August starts.
Reds -130 vs Phillies
The best team in baseball is opening up their series tonight against NL East leading Philadelphia. And we’re actually favorites?? Ranger Suarez is making his debut tonight after dominating MiLB, but thanks to our heavy-hitting lineup I expect Great American Ball Park to be a Home Run Derby off the guy. Gonna be great to see his career ruined before it even starts. Mahle is coming off back-to-back shitty starts which has caused his ERA to balloon, so expect him to be locked in tonight and get his shit back on track.
