Dan Mullen used to order the same off-menu creation each time he visited the Starkville frozen custard drive-thru called Bop’s: vanilla concrete, topped with chocolate syrup, caramel, chocolate chips and M&Ms.
Bop’s named it The Mullen.

It’s crazy how fast one can go from being the glory boy to the enemy. But Dan Mullen made his decision, and now he has to live with it.
“The Lateral Move” was inspired by a quote from Dan Mullen all the way back in 2014 when defensive coordinator Geoff Collins left Mississippi State for Florida.
Well, for those of you that have been sleeping under a rock, Dan Mullen decided to make a lateral move of his own after the 2017 season by taking the head coaching job at Florida.
Florida travels to Starkville this week to take on Mullen’s former team. I expect the Gators to come out and play with their heads on fire for the commander-in-chief, Dan Mullen, who disrespectfully had his favorite frozen custard treat taken away and bashed right in front of his face.
